EMAIL | How to Setup and Use Email

New Users: Need an email client that's friendly to use and invulnerable to worm virus attacks?
We like The Bat.
1. Open your email client (program)
2. Set Receive Mail Server to yourdomainname.com (no "www")
Note: set Protocol to IMAP4 if also using Webmail
3. SMTP (Sendmail) Server is provided by your ISP
4. Type in your username and password*

EMAIL HINTS
Avoid virus attacks by never opening these file extensions.
If you are experiencing problems sending email with Outlook or Outlook Express,
try rebooting your computer.
Empty your Outbox, save any emails in the Outbox to a separate folder. Check
your account settings with our step by step guide.

Problems recieving mail need to be reported to your ISP (Internet Service Provider),
for example: AOL, Earthlink, MSN...
For problems with sending or receiving email, verify first that you are connected to the
Internet, then recheck your email program settings.
If your Internet or email download is slower than normal, there is likely a
problem with your ISP or your connection may be slow. This is common and usually
resolves itself. |

WEB MAIL | How to Access and Use Webmail

1. Open your web browser (Internet Explorer, Netscape, etc.)
2. Go to: mail.yourdomainname.com (no "www")
(Note, some clients will use: www.yourdomainname.com/mail)
3. Type in your username and password*

FTP | Login Information and Troubleshooting |
New Users: Need an FTP program? We like Cute FTP Pro.
1. Open a new FTP Site
2. Go to your website's Host Address (i.e: 216.176.197.42)
3. Type in your username and password
4. Advanced users: set "CHMOD" to 755 and use PORT mode

WEB STATS | How to Access and use Wusage Stats
|
1. Open your web browser
2. Go to www.yourdomainname.com/usage
3. Type in your username and password*

set up usage stats or to revise login information. "How to" info. is available at Wusage. |

reassign your login information. For your protection and security, passwords are not kept on file.
